Discovering Signs of Growth During the Wait

When we’re in the waiting game, it’s not just about passing time. There are signs, little hints that show something’s happening, even if we can’t see it yet. These signs? They speak volumes about how we’re growing, even in the quiet moments.

Think about it. Being fruitful while waiting isn’t just a fancy idea. It’s real and tangible. It’s about becoming more like Jesus, showing His goodness through what we do. It’s about finding calm in the middle of confusion and seeing ourselves grow—getting better, step by step.

The Bible tells us about these signs. It’s like a roadmap, guiding us on this journey. Being fruitful isn’t just about doing big things—it’s about living like Jesus did, making kindness and goodness our way of life. It’s finding peace, that quiet calm inside us, even when things aren’t clear. And most importantly, it’s about growing, becoming a better version of ourselves, even if we can’t see it yet.

Looking back at stories in the Bible, we see people who waited a really long time. Take Abraham, for instance—he waited a whopping 25 years for Isaac! Moses? He spent a whopping 80 years before he found his true calling. These stories teach us that sometimes, what we’re waiting for takes longer than we expect, but there’s a plan in place, even if we can’t see it yet.

So, this fruitfulness while waiting? It’s not just about the end result. It’s about who we become in the process. It’s about being more like Jesus, finding that calm inside us, and growing, even when we’re waiting for something big.
